Connect Claude

Add Xero Connector by Meridian manually as a custom connector.

Open Claude connectors
  1. Open Claude’s connector settings. Go to Customize → Connectors, select +, then choose Add custom connector.
  2. Add the MCP server. Use Xero Connector by Meridian as the name, paste the MCP server URL below, and leave the optional OAuth client fields blank. Then select Add.
  3. Connect your account. Select Connect. Claude will open Xero Connector by Meridian in your browser. Sign in if needed, review the connected Xero organizations and requested read or write access, then return to Claude.
  4. Use it in Claude. Enable Xero Connector by Meridian from the Connectors menu in a chat, Cowork task, Claude Desktop, or Claude Code. The same connector account and Xero authorization carry across supported Claude surfaces.

Using a Team or Enterprise workspace?

An Owner must add the connector for the organization first. Each member then connects it to their own Xero Connector by Meridian account.
